Every year the largest pikes are caught in the Sea Lapland area. Lapinkoski fishing and recreation area is an excellent basecamp for pike fishing. Finland's record pike until today, over 18 kg, has been caught in our nearby waters. Fishing with a professional pike fishing guide, gives you the advantage to find the right spots and technigues.
As our guest you can fish in the river, seaside as well as in surrounding lakes. All the nearby fishing destinations are very potential for big pike fishing. Depending on the time of the year and weather, you have a large variety of different spots for big pike fishing by spinning, casting, trolling or fly fishing.
This special package for 1790€ includes accommodation for 1-4 anglers, a professional big pike specialist and a sportfishing boat for guiding days. In the boat there is space for two anglers at the same time. September is an excellent time for BIG pike fishing in Sea Lapland. Accommodation
Our well equipped new log cabins of about 35 square meters have nice beds for max. 6 people, a shower, a kitchen corner and all the other amenities of high-quality accommodation. The cabins also have air heat/cool pumps to keep the temperature comfortable all year round. In the summer (June-Aug) the restaurant Lohiranta nearby is serving the guests of Lapinkoski daily.
Lapinkoski Fishing & Recreation area
Lapinkoski fishing area starts from the porch of your log cabin. Lapinkoski has mild rapids and is wonderfully suitable especially for fly fishermen but spinning, trolling and casting is also allowed. The Lapinkoski area is reserved for the private use of our guests. We are also located near the popular public salmon, greyling, pike and perch fishing spots, so you have plenty of great areas for fishing.
Professional guide and a boat
With our professional guide, you get to fish aboard a modern sport fishing boat. The boat takes two anglers at the same time in addition to the guide. For the guiding day, all the needed fishing gears are included in the package price. If you want, you can also rent high quality fishing gear for the days you fish without the guide.
Group size
This offer is for a group of up to 4 anglers. Collect your friends together or travel by yourself and spend quality fishing time at river Simojoki and nearby.

How to get to us?
We are located 40 min drive from Kemi-Tornio Airport, 1,5 hour drive from Rovaniemi or Oulu airports. The easiest way to move around is to rent a car at the Airport. Fishing and wading equipment and clothing
We wish you to bring your own fishing and wading gear and other suitable outdoor clothing.
Food and drinks
Are not included in the package price. There is a small kitchen in the cabin. We also rent a separate "Aurora Hut & Kitchen" which an atmospheric "living room" for the anglers in the area.
Rough schedule for your fishing holiday:
DAY 1: Check in to your log cabin 15.00 p.m or later
DAY 2: BIG PIKE fishing with a pro guide. He will guide you to the secret big pike fishing spots. You will spend a full day with the guide.
DAY 3: BIG PIKE fishing in the morning with a pro guide. Self-organized fishing in the afternoon.
DAY 4: Self-organized fishing at the spots you have discovered with the guide.
DAY 5: Check out before noon.
